Maharaja Agrasen College, Delhi University was honoured to hold the Felicitation Ceremony of its final year student of Department of Journalism Ms Shinata Chauhan on Wednesday, July 20, 2022. Ms Shinata has made Maharaja Agrasen College and its Journalism Department proud with her achievement. She is in her final year and has put in unabated efforts to secure the second runner up position in Femina Miss India 2022.
Ms. Shinata Chauhan recalled her early days in college as she expressed her heartfelt gratitude towards her mentors and teachers. She also through light on the journey she took to come this far giving major credit to her mother who had sown the seeds of this dream at an early stage.
Furthermore, Mr. Atul Kumar Jain, Chairman addressed the gathering saying three people should always be shown gratitude for the success who are, to god for the life we have, to our parents who've struggled to provide for our dreams and to our teachers who've taken an extra step for give us an opportunity and to teachers.
Principal, Professor Sanjeev Kumar Tiwari, shared what a student, Ms. Shinata Chauhan was and how she has put in her time, her dedication to develop her personality which have led her to achieve what she has today.
Dr. Sushmita Rajwar, Department of Political Science, Maharaja Agrasen College gave the opening speech to commence the program. The felicitation ceremony was concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by teacher-in-charge of Journalism Sudhir K. Rinten.
